Colby site inspection never happened
stalledServpro requested a site inspection Sep 9, 2024 to determine liability. Homeowner offered any day the week of Oct 15, 2024. No inspection is documented after that. This is Servpro's own stated blocker to determining liability.
Rooftech Consulting independent assessment
waitingFull record forwarded to Scott at Rooftech Consulting (scott@rooftechconsulting.org) on Apr 4, 2026. An independent expert report on installation quality would directly counter the wind-damage framing.
Subrogation question answered; further Progressive work product withheld
openProgressive's July 20, 2026 records response confirmed no formal subrogation demand was pursued, because the amounts paid were attributed to the covered wind event. The payment letter, estimate, inspection photos, and SeekNow report are now on file; the adjuster declined to release any additional internal work product.
Obtain the Servpro warranty document itself
openProgressive asked for 'the Servpro warranty and Contact signed for your roof installation.' The actual warranty terms (duration, start trigger, transfer, exclusions) are the legal backbone of the claim and are not in the email record.
